I won’t get into detail, but life will show you a thing or two about friendships in your 20’s. I am certain that it is only natural for things to come in and out of our lives (incl. people). It’s a matter of tapping into your intuition and trusting that IT IS the right time to let some things go. There is no manual or a to do list on how to tackle hard lessons in life, but we ought to gear up and go to battle anyways.
God is our only TRUE friend. The ultimate source of happiness is he who died on the cross for our sins. If you know God you know happy. And if you weren’t so caught up, you’d know faux when you saw it.
But fear not (consoles self)… There are a few ways to help you let go and move on forward. Because life keeps on keeping on even when you don’t:
- Cultivate your intuition and awareness of your life as it is right now.
- Adopt the attitude of acceptance.
- Honor the part of your life that you are letting go (Find something that resonates with you, where you can hold space for this and find closure for it.)
- Trust that great things are coming to fill the void.
